Our Anniversary at Valentino

I wanted a really fab meal that makes both of us happy.
As avid italian foodies, the first i thought was Valentino.
I made the reservation but as the restaurant was small, dinner was always fully reserved,
thus we had lunch instead.

It was a lovely lunch, tho not cheap but its worth the price.

I do look forward our next meal there again.. slurps

Bread with balsamic vinegar & olive oil dipping sauce

Tomato based seafood soup. Big Chunks of seafood.
Very flavourful seafood soup.
Nice..

Appetizier - Butter stired fried assorted mushrooms
Very nice..

The main star. Squid ink pasta with crab meat in creamy tomato sauce.
However, what is really nice about this dish is there is no tomato flavour, it has a rich seafood creamy sauce flavour which compliments the crabmeat very well.
Best!!

Dessert. We had ice cream with cookies.

Ippudo @ Mandarin Gallery..

One of the best Ramen i had in Singapore.. the other one will be Kara-miso ramen at Santouka in The Central.

The must try in Ippudo: Akamaru Ramen & Tamago Roll.. Slurps..
I love Ramen..

I went Ippudo twice in the same week after i had it the first time, once with Ade and another occasion with R.

R Birthday 2010

The celebration for R din go very well this year, we actually wanted to go Universal Studio but it was raining almost everyday recently so we really dun wish to risk going there to realise the rides were all wet and dampen our moods in the end. But it ended up as a bad celebration too.

Then we actually wanted to go out on Sat instead of Sun (his actual bday 13th of June)
but he had ippt test on Sat at 4pm so we had to go somewhere nearby while he prepares his mood for the ippt.

Sun, we had to go PC show as we realised we had to get laptops so it was kinda ruined again.

I really felt bad as a gf. I didnt plan much for him. I wanted to bring him to Valentino Italian restaurant but it was closed for renovation till end of this month.
Every thing was just not going our way.
So in the end, we jus had a simple dinner and a movie. Sounds kinda disappointing for him, yep i understand too. .

Then New York for dinner. (sort of a bday dinner)
I love New York New York, as i always feel, 'Every dish is nice in New York'
But till now, i'm still having the guilt that i didnt plan something better. :(
