Getaway weekend..

I had a getaway to Genting last weekend. I missed the F1 day 1 and 2 races but made it home to watch the final race.
I didnt knw F1 races were so exciting. With so much of thrills and spills, its not like the usual boring F1 race at all. By the way, i heart Nico Rosberg.

Ok back to my getaway. I booked Resort Hotel. My first attempt on this hotel and i totally love it.
It seems like they have newly renovated the rooms. It's very classy and contemporary designed.
Even the lobby is such a dazzle.
The price is much cheaper than Genting Hotel. Oh ya they provide newspapers as well.
I took Fri's night coach ride and reach Genting 3plus am. I prefer night travelling.
Somehow it feels faster.. perhaps becos i slept on the coach thru the journey. Hee

Hotel Prices: Ard S$250 for 2 nites
Night Coach from Sg: S$56 per pax 26 seater. Very squeezy.
Coach to Sg: We booked from Genting. WTS Premium Cruiser with personal tv each alight at Bukit Panjang Plaza. Rm80 per pax.

But the white strap gets dirtied easily. Creating much displeasure to wear it to work.
Anyway, i still love it. I'll wear it less often then.

Happy 21st Birthday to my sis.. Cindy..

My sister had just celebrated her 21st bday this month.
I've booked 2 Chevrons chalet (1 for her friends and 1 for family and relatives) and Neo garden catering, thanks for Xp's recommendation on this caterer.
Neo garden has 15% off for 21st bday catering.
And best of all. I ordered for 60 pax and i can split 30 pax to a different menu without any extra charges.
The food is nice, delivery is free, with 2 different menus of food and super friendly delivery man.
I ended up paying only $700 on 60 pax for a menu that cost $13 per pax. Cheap~
Lotsa ppl turned up.

Manhattan Fish Market Addict..

Yesterday, i've went to The Central Manhattan Fish Market again.. i'm kinda addicted to this place for its nice location by the river and of cos for its food.
I find they have more variety on their seafood platters compared to Fish & Co.

I've tried Manhattan seafood platter and the premium seafood platter before.
And i intend to try out the rest of their platters as well.

The item to rave about for the Manhattan seafood platter was their flaming prawns. It comes with lousiana sauce and its grilled. I believed it was their signature dish. Yum. The platter also comes with fried fish fillet, fried calamari, breaded oysters, fries and garlic rice.

For the Premium seafood platter, it don't just comes with a fried fish fillet, its comes with a fried fish. A wholesome fish. Slurps.
And you get a fish, mussels, fried prawns, fried calamari, fries and the garlic rice.

Omg.. its to die for. But there are only 5 prawns and comes with baguette bread.

And if you wanna add-on a drink and a soup for 4.90, do note, the drink is such a big glass that even 2 ppl is sharing it, you can still have some remaining. So order one add-on is enough. Hee.

And after the dinner, i saw this Gobi shop which featured on its macaroons and its petite pretty cakes. Every item is so pretty.
I bought a few of its macaroons to try. Damn they are really good. Each is $2.40.
Oh yah their macaroons does taste better than bakerzin's.

HTC Touch Diamond Sold @ S$ 550 !!

I sold my HTC touch diamond yst. I posted it up 2 days ago at Phing.com and many interested buyers smsed with their offer.
Well, i was quite pleased with the highest offer of $550 as there are quite some scratches at the back of my hp. Hmm.. and it was sold. Yay!

I really hate touch screens and now i totally detest smart phones.

Perhaps i'm not good at it.

Its such a chore to type a sms. . or to even forward a sms.

And for a simple minded, me, i prefer Sony ericsson or Nokia anytime. Keke.

Now, i can start looking out for nice phones again. . .

SMRT CHALLENGE 2008

My colleagues and i registered for the SMRT challenge, where we have to travel along the mrt lines to play games and solve codes. It was very fun. But i guess we are just not quick enuff.
We came back as soon as we could but we had lagged from the champion team by an hour.
Phew.. they must have been real fast.
Anyway, it was a great experience.
